Chicken Parmesan Pasta

This classic chicken Parmesan and spaghetti recipe serves four people and can be made in under a half hour.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (4-ounce)
  • 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese (grated)
  • fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then, prepare the chicken by pounding it to flatten. Next, salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Dip the chicken in egg and then in bread crumbs, pressing to coat in an even layer on each side.

  3. Fry the chicken breasts in butter in a hot skillet; Turning and browning for 10 minutes, or until chicken is cooked.

  4. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the skillet and put it to the side.

  5. Place spaghetti sauce into the skillet and heat thoroughly.

  6. Meanwhile, cook and drain the spaghetti pasta noodles until al dente, according to package directions.

  7. Lay pasta in a baking pan and cover it with half of the spaghetti sauce, mixing the two ingredients together. Finally, lay chicken breasts on top of the pasta and top them off with remaining spaghetti sauce.

  8. Place slices of mozzarella on top of chicken and sprinkle with Parmesan.

  9. Cover and cook in the oven until Parmesan cheese is melted.

  10. Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve and enjoy!
